The stewardship of artist and gallery legacies are at the heart of my professional mission as a consulting archivist. I have an MLIS in library science, a B.F.A. in painting & photography, and ten years of experience in libraries & archives. I am motivated to serve the Los Angeles creative community by establishing and preserving unique archival collections.
Having served as an academic arts research librarian for five years, I pivoted my career to private art archives in 2012. I served as the inaugural archivist at L.A. Louver gallery in Venice, CA working to streamline daily operations and stabilize 40 years of contemporary arts ephemera, records, correspondence, audio visual recordings, and photography. Most recently, I have worked on projects to preserve the legacies of graphic designer Margo Chase (1958ā 2017) with the Chase Design Studio, and contemporary artist John Baldessari (1931-2020) with JAB Art Enterprise, LLC.
